Add all ingredients in a heavy bottom saucepan over medium-high heat, mix together with a wooden spoon or spatula to completely dissolve sugar & coat nuts. Bring to a boil, let the moisture evaporate & the syrup thicken (constantly stirring) aprx 2-3 mins.
